CultureShift: Sustaining Creative Relationships
CultureShift returns with a new series of creative workshops designed to help artists and emerging creatives learn, connect and grow!
Join us for the fourth workshop in the CultureShift series!
Creative work is built on relationships. Whether you’re collaborating with friends, community organizations, clients, or sponsors, successful partnerships begin with identifying the right collaborators, understanding the value each person brings, and building a shared foundation for working together.
Facilitated by Norissa Samuels, Sustaining Creative Relationships explores the lifecycle of building and sustaining strong, professional partnerships in the creative sector. Apart of our CultureShift workshop series, made available for youth 13-29. The workshop will cover practical approaches to identifying potential collaborators, aligning on shared goals and mutual value, setting expectations, defining roles and responsibilities, navigating conversations around payment and boundaries, and formalizing agreements or contracts.
Participants will gain practical tools and strategies to communicate with confidence, establish strong working relationships, and create the conditions for partnerships that can grow and last while protecting both their creative work and the relationships that make it possible.
