Art Starts is devoted to helping communities transform themselves through art, but society must also change. Black artists and community members need to be heard and listened to today and every day.

We pledge our ongoing allyship and support to those who live with the systemic racism that engulfs us, and vow to advocate and lead in its dismantling. And we will continue to offer programming that provides a safe space to those voices to express their identity.
