OPEN CALL: LOOKING FOR ARTIST FACILITATORS
We are looking for Art Facilitators who have experience teaching children and youth ages 7-14+ and are preferably from Lawrence Heights, Neptune, or Eglinton-Oakwood neighbourhoods. Art Starts aims to have artists who can uplift the community we serve through shared lived experiences.
We bring together professional artists - dancers, musicians, visual artists, photographers, videographers, actors and playwrights ̶ with residents of all ages. Together we create accessible and dynamic community arts projects and initiatives that reflect the identities and aspirations of each community.

OPEN CALL: LOOKING FOR PROGRAM FACILITATORS
We are currently looking for Program Facilitators to manage the programs that we offer to our communities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a community setting and have lived experience in this capacity.
We are looking for positive role models for our young participants; someone who has a desire to work with people in the Lawrence Heights area.
The Program Facilitator is a member of the Art Starts team who will be responsible for coordinating specific projects within the organization and will report directly to the Program Director.
Art Starts is currently looking for young, gifted Black performers to audition for our latest instalment of the Virtuosity of Blackness 4.0 (VOB 4.0). We want to showcase your talent and invite you to light up the stage.
Art Starts will be part of the Arts in the Park Festival in the fall of 2021 at the illustrious Earl Bales Park. VOB 4.0 will electrify our audiences with stellar performances, dynamic DJs, soulful drummers and industrious vendors.
POSITION SUMMARY The Video Maker will oversee the documentation of Art Starts programming and events through photography and video.
