Some things in this city are hidden in plain sight — but if you’re out and about in Toronto this summer, there’s a lot to discover. Here’s a hint: tucked underneath Yorkdale Mall is an art studio and community space you probably didn’t even know was there. Yup, no joke. That’s where the latest edition of Love, Art & Basketball is happening — at Art Starts, an art space and community hub.

Through the eyes of the artist, this show explores how basketball connects to community, identity, culture, and creative expression –  taking you way beyond the court and the usual stories that come with it. Alongside the art, there’s a full month of programming: think youth forums, a screening + closing party, and a bunch of other cool happenings.
