Covid Resilience Campaign

Artist in Residence

What does a strong, healthy community mean to you?

At Art Starts, it means ensuring ALL children, youth, families and seniors have opportunities for artistic expression and creative development. It means ensuring marginalized, racialized and newcomer artists have opportunities to work, develop their craft, perform and exhibit.

In order to continue to grow as a dynamic, innovative arts hub, the creative ecology of our city MUST reflect the diverse voices of the people and artists who inhabit it.

During this time of uncertainty, vulnerable residents and artists are suffering more than ever from isolation and a lack of opportunities for creative engagement, collaboration and artistic development. Inspiring and healing our communities is paramount, and we need your help to do it.

We are calling on you now to help us ensure thriving communities across the city of Toronto.

DONATE NOW:

  • To support digital and outdoor programming and virtual performance opportunities for youth, families and seniors.
  • To support online mentorships, networking and skills-building workshops for artists.
  • To champion a healthy, more equitable future for the arts in Toronto.

Donate to the Covid Resilience Campaign by clicking here.

Thank you for your support!
